Since landing in *paradise* Naples, Florida over 9 years ago, Kelly Clinger has become a prominent and regionally recognized Singer/Performer throughout SW Florida! Kelly’s soulful and powerful voice can be heard not only as an avid performer, but also as a voice teacher, and music activist in the community. With a diverse musical background stretching over the past 3 decades, Kelly has done and sang it all! Kelly has been singing professionally since completing her Vocal Performance degree from the University of Central Florida in 2011. She can be seen performing regularly with her band throughout the season at Mercado, The Ritz Carlton Beach Resort, the Ave Maria community, the Naples Botanical Gardens, and countless private clubs and public venues across the region.
Raised in small-town Findlay, Ohio, Kelly began singing and performing from the moment she could stand! Kelly started private vocal instruction at age 12, and spent her high school years traveling the country as a singer/dancer in the nationally recognized, competitive “Show Choir”, Findlay First Edition. During her time at the University of Central Florida, she was a regularly featured soloist, cast as the lead in the opera, Betly, and was named the first UCF Student Liaison to the Dr. Philips Performing Arts Center in Orlando. Despite her studies in classical repertoire, Kelly found her true love of jazz and soul music while singing in several student jazz combos. After graduation, Kelly traveled to Chicago, singing in a jazz duo before migrating to Naples in 2014. Her time in Naples has served as the launching pad for her incredibly successful musical career!
